My name is Elizabeth Robillard, owner and operator of Cozy Corner Daycare. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself and just how Cozy Corner came into existence.

More than a decade ago, my "vision" began as I worked closely with two highly experienced daycare professionals in the area. While finishing up my degree at Wayne State, I continued to learn from their 30 years of experience working with children. I knew I wanted to have my own daycare from very early on. Working at these two daycares wasn't just babysitting or extra spending money, it was a foundation for my future. With nearly 14 years of experience in a daycare setting, I also have experience working with children who have developmental disabilities.

Despite the ridicule from the people that didn't quite understand that this was so much more than just babysitting, I went on to gather all my materials and start implementing my own ideas into what I had already learned. I was anxious about the day I could call this daycare my own. Finding a perfect place to call "Cozy Corner" was the final step in this process; everything else just fell into place.

Established in 2001, Cozy Corner started as a small family daycare licensed for 6 children. Currently, we are a group daycare able to accommodate 12. With much love and attention, Cozy Corner has grown into what you see here today. Thank you to all who have made it possible.

Being a parent, I know choosing a place for your child is such an important decision. I encourage you to do your research and interview thoroughly to see what options are out there. We provide a place for your child to feel loved and secure while having fun, building relationships, and learning along the way. With our preschool program, many of our children stay with us until it is time to go off to Kindergarten. We are confident that they have the Kindergarten readiness needed for success on the road ahead. My greatest success is knowing that I have made a difference in the life of a child.
